At Lux Paws Couture, we take just as much care getting your order to you as we do crafting it. Here's everything you need to know about how we ship.
1. Where We Ship
We ship Australia-wide and internationally to many countries worldwide.
- Domestic: We deliver to all Australian addresses, including metropolitan, regional and rural locations
- International:We ship to most countries — availability may vary depending on local customs regulations or global events
- If shipping to your country is temporarily unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, we'll let you know as soon as possible
2. Shipping Options
We ship via Australia Post for all domestic and international orders.
- Standard Shipping:A reliable, cost-effective option — transit times vary by destination
- Express Shipping: Need it sooner? Select express shipping at checkout for faster delivery
If you accidentally selected Standard Shipping but need your order urgently, please contact us immediately at sales@luxpawscouture.com.au — we pack and dispatch within 24 hours of receiving your order, so time is of the essence.
3. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location, and the weight and dimensions of your order — so you'll always know the cost before you confirm your purchase.
Free shipping may be offered during promotional periods. Keep an eye on our website and social media for any active offers.
4. Handling & Processing Time
We process and prepare orders for dispatch within 5 business days of payment confirmation.
- We do not process or ship orders on weekends or Australian public holidays
- During busy periods (such as holidays or sales), processing times may be slightly longer — we'll always communicate any delays
5. Estimated Delivery Times
Delivery timeframes depend on your location and chosen shipping method. While we do everything we can to get your order to you on time, some factors are outside our control, including:
- Customs inspections (for international orders)
- Adverse weather conditions
- High demand during holiday periods
We recommend ordering early during peak seasons, especially for international deliveries.
6. Order Tracking
Once your order is dispatched, you'll receive a tracking number via the email or phone number provided at checkout. You can use this to follow your order in real time through Australia Post's tracking system.
If you have any trouble tracking your order, reach out to us at sales@luxpawscouture.com.au and we'll help you out.
7. Shipping Insurance
For extra peace of mind, we offer optional shipping insurance at checkout to cover loss or damage during transit.
If you need to make a claim, we'll liaise with Australia Post on your behalf to get it resolved as smoothly as possible.
8. Lost or Damaged Parcels
In the rare event your parcel is lost or arrives damaged, please contact us straight away at sales@luxpawscouture.com.au. We'll open an investigation with Australia Post, which can take 14–30 business days to resolve.
If the loss or damage is confirmed to be the courier's fault, we'll make it right for you.
Please note: Lux Paws Couture is not responsible for parcels that have been successfully delivered but subsequently misplaced.
9. Undeliverable Packages
Please double-check your delivery address before placing your order. If a parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address, re-shipping fees will apply.
10. Sustainability
We care about our planet as much as we care about your pets. 🌿
- We use eco-friendly and biodegradable packaging wherever possible
- We encourage consolidating orders to reduce unnecessary packaging waste
- We're continually exploring more sustainable shipping options
